Where is PRECIOUS??? She is just one of MANY still LOST that Boggs has not answered for. They pulled her out of Gordon County AC in Calhoun GA. They promised her a chance at adoption and life and instead of telling us where these babies are you are ASKING THE PUBLIC for more funds. How about this unethical, unprofessional so called SHELTER get off their pitty wagon and stop crying POOR and FIRST address what they did with ALL of these LOST DOGS? Answer what they did with ALL THE SPONSORED MONEY?? We have all been extremely patient with their problems, now I'd like to see some action on their end and I'd like to see this so called "wonderful" board DO THEIR JOB and be held accountable for the failure of their organization.
Another killing........

You state that "The Lucky Dog/Lucky Kitty program represents only one part of our shelter's programming. The remaining portions of our programming have saved the lives of over 12,000 animals in out eight-year history." THIS BOY WAS NOT IN THE UNLUCKY DOG PROGRAM AND WAS KILLED FRAUDULENTLY! YOUR DOCUMENTATION OF MEDICAL REASONS IS A LIE! DO NOT DARE PAT YOURSELVES ON THE BACK AND CONTINUE LYING TO THE PUBLIC AND YOURSELVES ABOUT SAVING ANIMALS. HOPE MANY MORE DIED A SENSELESS DEATH THAT HAVE NO ADVOCATE. THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION IS AT FAULT FOR THIS NIGHTMARE.
Just Sad-- I hope the doors stay closed

I hope your doors stay closed. How do you fire a Whistle Blower and turn around and say you did not know what was going on? How shocked ya'll were.... Really
I would have given the Whistle Blower a raise and a promotion and then took immediate action to find out what exactly was going on with A Facility I had invested money and time in. Ain't buying what you are selling..Good Luck with your next investment, maybe next time it will not invole animals and peoples Good money and Big Hearts.
Resignation of Penny Burkett
From: Jan Toussaint, 08/03/12 09:06 AM
Going forward the shelter needs Penny Burkett to return, especially if it is true that she had no knowledge of the wrongdoing. Her resignation will not help the ongoing efforts of the shelter to succeed. Please reconsider if she will do so same. The Humane Socity of the United States should be contacted for their help in re-structuring the shelter. They stepped in to help one faltering shelter in Miami, FL and also joined the Ft. Lauderdale SPCA Wildlife Care Center. Lastly, I do not understand why so much time and money is spent on transferring animals from other counties when Rabun County has many animals right here that are neglected and homeless.

have you rehired the employee that Lowanda Kilby fired for whistle blowing? To fire a whistle blower is a federal offense.

I paid via paypal to Boggs, ( Lawanda name on paypal) 240.00 and paid a boarding facility 60.00. I was told by the person that transported the dog from the boarding to Boggs Mt. transport van that Boss was killed by Lawanda Kilby. I want to know the date, and I am again asking for my funds to be returned so i can truly SAVE a dog in memory of Boss.
