Adopting a Cat costs $55.00 which includes Spaying or Neutering, Rabies Vaccination, Physical Exam and a wellness Vet Visit.
 
Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter has adopted more than 3,700 Dogs and cats since opening in September 2004.
 
2 unsterilized dogs and their offspring can produce 67,000 new dogs in 7 years.
 
2 unsterilized Cats and their offspring can produce 360,000 new cats in only 7 years.

Contracted veterinarians – the BMHS has engaged The Rabun Animal Hospital, P.C. and the services of local veterinarians, Brad Smith, DVM, and Stephen Arbitter, DVM.  Dr. Smith and Dr. Arbitter are experienced in medicine and surgery with large and small animals.
